Long-haul flights continue to Europe, Asia and North America
DUBAI – Dubai’s flagship carrier Emirates is operating a reduced but extensive global schedule today (March 11) following the partial reopening of regional airspace.
Passengers travelling through Dubai have been advised to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport as operational changes may occur at short notice. The airline said safety remains the highest priority while services gradually resume.
Despite disruptions in parts of the region, Emirates continues to operate flights to multiple destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.
Emirates flights schedule
Today’s schedule from Dubai includes flights to destinations such as Buenos Aires (EK247), Melbourne (EK406), Perth (EK420), Sydney (EK412) and Vienna (EK127).
Across Asia, flights are operating to cities including Dhaka (EK582), Beijing (EK306), Guangzhou (EK362), Shanghai (EK304), Shenzhen (EK328) and Hong Kong (EK380, EK384).
European routes remain active with services to Paris (EK071, EK073, EK075), Frankfurt (EK043, EK045, EK047), Munich (EK051), Hamburg (EK059), Amsterdam (EK145), Madrid (EK141, EK143) and Lisbon (EK193).
Flights to the United Kingdom are also running from Dubai to London Heathrow (EK009, EK069), London Gatwick (EK027), Birmingham (EK121), Manchester (EK067), Edinburgh (EK039) and Glasgow (EK023).
In North America, Emirates is operating routes to Boston (EK237), Chicago (EK235), Dallas (EK221), New York JFK (EK203, EK205), Newark (EK209), San Francisco (EK225) and Seattle (EK229).
What passengers need to know
Emirates has issued travel guidance for passengers whose journeys may be affected by schedule changes.
Travellers who booked tickets between February 28 and March 31 can reschedule their trips for travel before April 30 without change fees when rebooking via the airline or their travel agent.
Passengers who missed flights or rebookings are advised to contact Emirates directly if their tickets were booked with the airline, or their travel agent if the booking was made through an agency.
Refunds are also available for cancelled flights or disrupted journeys booked during the affected period. Requests can be submitted through the airline’s refund form or via travel agents.
The airline has advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have received confirmation that their flight is operating.
